Apple has let iPhone and iPad users get more out of their device with iOS 7, their newest software occupied with many tricks and hidden features. Face time audio calling
This is a new feature in iOS 7. The user of iOS will already be aware with the face time video calling feature which is used to make video calls by them and OS X users over WiFi and LTE. This feature also allows you do the same with audio only. By this you can talk to anyone with a better audio quality and without thinking about the minute charges which you earlier paid in normal calling.
Contact blocking
Now the users of iOS 7 need not to get disturbed or tensed due to any unwanted caller or messenger. You can not only ignore them but can come to know when they were trying to disturb you. In this new OS you can block contacts from calls, texts, and FaceTime by simply going to Settings and then either Phone, Messages, or FaceTime and from there, go to Blocked, and you can add contacts to the blocked list for any of the message apps.
Unlimited folders
In previous iOS the folders used to have a hard cap on the number of apps they could contain and for many of us having capped folders is much better than not having folders. Now with iOS 7 folders can hold an infinite number of apps but unfortunately, there’s a trade-off. Earlier, the capped folders allowed a four-by-four grid of apps but this time around, the uncapped folders only allow a three-by-three grid per folder page. So by using iOS 7 you can have less folders cluttering your Home screen, but you’ll have to swipe around more often to reach to your desired item.
Improved Do not disturb
This Do Not Disturb feature will mute calls, texts and alerts during specific times or when manually turned on. Most of the users use it during dinner or meeting manually and set a Do Not Disturb schedule for night. In this improved version there is an option to let the call come through if there is a consecutive call pretending it an emergency.
See and cut data used by each app
In Apple’s iOS 7 you can now come to know how much data each app on your iPhone or iPad is using. Its very relieving and wonderful news for users on limited data plans. By help of this hidden iOS 7 feature one can find out which app is using how much data and can even turn it off to prevent any more data usage.
Multiple photos in semi-Burst mode
For this feature the phone matters a lot rather than the OS because by this an iPhone 5 user with iOS 7 can click 3 photos in a second whereas a 5s user can click 10 per second. This can be done by holding down the shutter button on iPhone 5 or 5s with iOS 7.
Smarter updating option
With the help of Background App Refresh in iOS 7 you can update your apps in a smarter way, smarter based on the connection you have and it should eventually learn when the best time to update information is.
Zooming during video recording
By this function the users can zoom in while taking video on the iPhone 5 or 5s with a pinch to zoom gesture, for doing so you can just pinch on the video while recording or when setting up your shot. This becomes a handy feature helping you in staying close to a subject who is running or riding away from you, or for getting closer to the action at a play or any sports game.
Swipe to go back
In place of tapping on a back icon or tapping in the upper left to go back in settings and Apple Apps, swipe in from the left edge of the screen. This works for iMessages, Settings, Notes and many other apps. This action also goes back a page in Safari and a swipe in the opposite direction goes forward a page.
Customize text
Apple’s new iOS 7 uses new skinnier fonts that can cause trouble to some people in reading the new font but Apple makes it easy to make the font bold and to make it bigger throughout iOS 7. This can be done by visiting to settings option.
